Domiciliary Service Manager - Fylde Domiciliary Service

This is an exciting opportunity to join Lancashire County Council as the Registered Manager for Fylde Domiciliary Service. Salary: £47,665 - £53,051 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week

Location: Fylde Domiciliary Service

As a Grade 10 Manager, you will:

  • Provide overall leadership for the service, including supervision, motivation and direction for Team Managers and staff teams, ensuring person-centred approaches are consistently delivered.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and development of the service.
  • Manage the service budget and ensure services are delivered within the agreed financial allocation.
  • Act as the Registered Manager for the service, ensuring compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations and standards, and that all conditions of registration are met.

Working Hours

37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional out-of-hours working and participation in the standby/on-call rota as required.

Local Government Reorganisation

The Government has confirmed that local government across Lancashire will be reorganised, with the current 15 councils being replaced by four new unitary councils covering North, South, East and West Lancashire from April 2028.

If you are successful in your application, you will initially join Lancashire County Council. However, as part of the planned transition, your employment will transfer to one of the new unitary councils from April 2028, subject to the implementation of the reorganisation and relevant employment legislation.
