  • Set and maintain standards for ACE integration patterns, deployment and runtime standards, and operational governance.
  • Set and maintain standards for ITX map governance, version control, runtime deployment, and controls.
  • Set and maintain ITM and Instana standards covering monitoring coverage, alert policies, dashboards, noise reduction, and actionable alerts.
  • Lead governance forums to manage exceptions, reduce fragmentation, and improve time-to-deliver for consuming teams.
  • Maintain product documentation and service catalogue entries, ensuring clarity around supported services and consumption methods.
  • Own service health outcomes covering availability, stability, performance, capacity, and resilience.
  • Define and track SLIs, SLOs, and KPIs, including incident trends, MTTR, change failure rate, and platform performance indicators.
  • Lead major incident reviews and drive root cause elimination.
  • Drive problem management, reliability engineering initiatives, and runbook maturity.
  • Define, test, and evidence disaster recovery and high-availability expectations.
  • Convert the roadmap into a prioritised backlog and delivery plan with engineering, SRE/operations, and programme partners.
  • Lead delivery of platform initiatives, including upgrades, migrations, monitoring rollouts, automation, and hardening.
  • Ensure changes meet non-functional requirements and progress through appropriate change and release governance with clear consumer communications.
  • Maintain the platform security posture through patching, vulnerability remediation, secure configuration, access controls, and certificate lifecycle management.
  • Own and manage product risk items and remediation plans.
  • Support audits by providing evidence and driving findings through to closure.
  • Partner with cybersecurity, architecture, and risk teams to design and implement compliant solutions.
  • Act as the primary senior interface for application teams, architecture, operations/SRE, cybersecurity, and service management stakeholders.
  • Communicate roadmap, standards, service health, and key changes clearly while managing expectations and dependencies across teams.
  • Drive improvements to consumer onboarding and adoption through templates, reference implementations, and enablement.
  • Manage IBM and tooling vendor relationships, including support case escalations and roadmap alignment.
  • Own licensing and cost management, including utilisation analysis, renewal planning, optimisation, and waste avoidance.
  • Set platform standards and approve or decline non-standard implementations through established governance.
  • Prioritise backlog items and sequence delivery against available capacity and risk.
  • Manage large-scale, multi-region deployments across multiple geographies and time zones, including operating model alignment, follow-the-sun support, regional standardisation, and regulatory or latency constraints.
  • Track product success measures, including high-severity incident reduction, repeat issue reduction, MTTR improvement, supported-version coverage, patch and vulnerability compliance, monitoring and observability coverage, alert-noise reduction, cost optimisation, roadmap delivery, and consumer satisfaction.
