Job Description & Summary

About the Role

The NHS is undergoing once‑in‑a‑generation reform — driven by national digital policy, frontline productivity opportunities, financial pressure, workforce constraints and the widescale implementation of Electronic Patient Record (EPR) platforms across individual and converging Trusts programmes We help NHS organisations navigate this complexity, design better models of care and deliver EPR‑enabled transformation that improves patient outcomes, clinician experience and system productivity.

We are a highly motivated, capable, collaborative, diverse and caring team with deep expertise across Healthcare, Government and Technology Consulting. We work at the heart of major NHS digital programmes, supporting Trusts and systems to deliver EPR programmes that align national policy intent with local operational reality.

As a Senior Manager, you will lead large‑scale NHS EPR transformation programmes, working with executive, clinical and digital leaders to ensure EPR implementations deliver tangible frontline benefits and enable wider enterprise transformation across systems.

What your days will look like:

  • Managing the design and delivery of large‑scale NHS EPR transformation programmes, from mobilisation and business case through deployment, go‑live and post‑implementation optimisation
  • Leading EPR‑enabled operating model, care pathway and workforce transformation, with a clear focus on improving frontline productivity, clinical safety and user adoption
  • Supporting NHS organisations and ICSs to translate national policy and funding signals into deliverable, locally owned EPR programmes
  • Contributing to the development of the NHS EPR and digital transformation market, identifying opportunities, shaping propositions and supporting bids with Trusts, systems and national bodies
  • Helping to grow our multi‑specialism Enterprise Transformation and HealthTech teams, developing tools, methods and assets that support successful NHS EPR delivery and adoption at scale
  • Leading engagement economics, governance, risk and issue management, and delivery assurance across complex, multi‑Trust and ICS‑led EPR programmes
  • Owning senior stakeholder relationships across NHS executives, clinical leaders, digital teams and system partners, building trusted advisor relationships

This role is for you if:

  • You have experience scoping and leading large‑scale transformation programmes within the NHS, with a strong focus on EPR implementation, optimisation and benefits realisation
  • You have led EPR deliveries and have experience in the EPR delivery life-cycle
  • You have led or played a senior role in NHS EPR programmes including clinical engagement, operational change and digital delivery
  • You have knowledge of EPR systems and understand the delivery and implementation, e.g. Oracle Health, Epic, Nervecentre
  • You have experience of operating model design and implementation, transformation programme management, change and adoption management or large‑scale engagement in an NHS setting
  • You can interpret NHS strategic, operational, regulatory and clinical drivers for change, building credibility and trust with senior stakeholders across Trusts and ICSs
  • You understand the unique constraints and risks of NHS EPR transformation — including patient safety, clinical buy‑in, data migration, interoperability, national assurance requirements and readiness for go‑live
  • You are comfortable developing requirements across process, people, organisation, technology and data, and articulating how EPR systems enable wider NHS productivity and transformation goals
  • You have a successful track record of senior delivery leadership within the NHS or in NHS‑facing consulting roles

What you’ll receive from us:

No matter where you may be in your career or personal life, our benefits are designed to add value and support, recognising and rewarding you fairly for your contributions.

We offer empowered flexibility, a working week split between office, home and client site; private medical cover and 24/7 access to a qualified virtual GP; volunteering days each year and much more.
