HGV Refuse Collection Driver to join a team of valued key workers and help make a positive difference to the environment we all live and work in.

As a HGV Refuse Collection Driver, you'll:
· Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job
· Undertake all duties in a professional manner deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to articles left for removal
· Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed
· Complete relevant paperwork in real time
· Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after use
· Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.
· Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public and other motor users
Your typical working hours will be:
· 6.00am to 2.30 Monday to Friday
· Overtime opportunities available
What you'll need to do the role:
· Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (with no more than 6 points)
· Driver CPC
· Willingness to help refuse loaders while on your rounds to enable your team to complete the route within the service level agreement
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Self-motivated
· Willingness to undertake tasks
· Clean drivers licence
· Previous relevant experience desirable, but not essential
