Salary: £70,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements

  • A strong academic background, with at least a 2:1 degree in a STEM subject
  • Some commercial experience developing software with C#
  • Good understanding of .NET or .NET Core
  • Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming
  • Understanding of SQL and relational databases
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Enthusiasm for software engineering and learning new technologies
  • Curiosity about how and why systems work, not just how to write code
  • Good communication skills and an ability to learn from experienced developers
  • Beneficial exposure to ASP.NET Core or Web APIs, SQL Server, multithreading or asynchronous programming, Git, automated testing and CI/CD, distributed systems, performance optimisation or low-latency applications, AWS or Azure, or financial markets, trading or quantitative technology

  • Develop and enhance applications using C# and modern .NET
  • Work on real-time, performance-critical trading technology
  • Build new features and improve existing systems
  • Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code
