Job description

Marketing Manager – Legal Tech Talk now part of Hyve!

A bit about us

We’re Hyve - organiser of the world’s fastest-growing and most forward-thinking B2B events. As the chosen event partner to many of the world’s leading companies, our platforms play a critical role in their strategies - helping them enter new markets, accelerate growth and connect with the people who matter most.

Our portfolio features some of the world’s leading events in sectors like ecommerce, healthcare, edtech, and fintech. We’re growing fast with an entrepreneurial culture that empowers big ideas and quick action, plus an ambitious acquisition strategy bringing exciting new events into our mix.

Alongside our market-leading events, we’re building tech and data-driven products that supercharge connections – from one-to-one meeting programs and curated table talks to year-round engagement platforms.

Whatever your role, you’ll join a global team redefining how industries connect, collaborate, and grow – working with some of the most talented people in the business.

Think that sounds good? Wait until our talent acquisition team tells you about the culture.

A bit about Legal Tech Talk

LegalTechTalk started with a simple mission: to bring the legal community together to connect, share ideas and shape the future of law.

In under three years, we’ve grown into an award-winning event and community, welcoming 5,500+ attendees, 400+ speakers and 200 sponsors at our latest event. Now, we’re building towards an even bigger 2027, with 7,000+ attendees expected from across the legal ecosystem.

At the heart of it all are the people – those driving change, asking big questions and bringing fresh perspectives to an industry full of opportunity

A bit about you

First things first: whatever your background, beliefs or ambitions, there’s a culture of belonging at Hyve — and everyone is welcome. The question isn’t where you’ve come from, but where you want to go.

You’ll thrive here if you’re curious, collaborative and not afraid to challenge convention. We look for people who take pride in what they do, who are excited by change and always moving forward. The kind of people who stay open, keep learning, and look for better ways to make an impact.

Our shared behaviours guide how we work: we dare to do things differently, own our work, embrace collaboration, stay true to ourselves and others, and remember that optimism wins.

If that sounds like you, you’ll fit right in.

A bit about the role

As Marketing Manager, you will develop and deliver marketing campaigns that grow LegalTechTalk Europe’s audience, drive registrations and keep our community engaged throughout the year.

With a strong focus on copywriting and digital marketing, you’ll take ownership of campaign emails, website content and landing pages, whilst supporting wider marketing activity. You’ll bring fresh ideas and execute them end to end, from shaping the concept and audience messaging through to building, launching, measuring and refining the campaign.

Working closely with the marketing team, you’ll align campaigns across channels and ensure each communication has a clear purpose. You’ll need practical experience working with websites and the marketing capabilities of CRM platforms, alongside an understanding of how to assess campaign performance, identify opportunities and test improvements.

This is a hands-on role for a creative, curious and confident writer who enjoys making things happen. You’ll join a fast-paced, collaborative team where initiative, clear communication and a willingness to learn are essential.

As part of your job, you’ll:

  • Work closely with the Social Media & Content Executive to align campaign plans, messaging and timings across digital channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies where relevant to incorporate key announcements, initiatives and audience priorities into campaigns.
  • Support wider marketing initiatives and event activity, adapting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Copywriting, Creative & Audience Messaging

  • Write compelling copy for emails, websites, landing pages, digital advertising and other marketing materials, adapting tone and calls to action for different audience segments.
  • Develop campaign concepts, headlines and visuals, creating email banners, website graphics and digital assets using Canva or similar tools.
  • Turn event features, speaker announcements, agenda topics and industry developments into clear reasons to engage and attend.
  • Maintain accuracy, clarity and brand consistency across copy and creative, tailoring assets to different channels and formats.

Digital Delivery & Audience Journeys

  • Build and maintain website pages and campaign landing pages that connect with email and wider digital activity, addressing audience questions and supporting conversion.
  • Own email campaign briefs, copy and creative, working closely with the Marketing Automation Manager on builds, testing, scheduling and delivery.
  • Define target audiences and personalisation requirements, collaborating with the Marketing Automation Manager on CRM segmentation and alignment with automated journeys.
  • Ensure each campaign provides a clear, consistent route from initial communication through to registration.
  • Check the complete user experience across desktop and mobile, including layouts, links, forms and calls to action.
Performance & Optimisation

  • Set clear campaign objectives and use CRM, email and website reporting to assess engagement, registrations and conversion.
  • Identify where messaging, targeting or user journeys could improve, working with the Marketing Automation Manager to understand performance across audience segments.
  • Plan and evaluate tests across subject lines, copy, visuals, landing pages and calls to action, applying findings to future campaigns.
  • Apply an understanding of SEO/ GEO and website conversion optimisation to improve campaign performance, sharing results, practical recommendations and fresh ideas with the Head of Marketing and wider team.

Here’s what we’re looking for from you:

The ideal candidate will be an excellent writer with a creative mind and a strong grounding in core marketing principles. They will understand how audience needs, segmentation, positioning and clear messaging work together to make campaigns effective.

We’re seeking a hands-on marketer who can take an idea and deliver it end to end. They will have practical experience building emails and landing pages, creating digital campaign assets and using CRM marketing tools, with the confidence to assess whether a campaign is working, identify what needs attention and decide what to test next.

They will be a strong communicator and collaborative team player who builds positive working relationships, welcomes feedback and takes ownership of their work. Our environment moves quickly, so they’ll need to be organised, adaptable and proactive, with the ambition to keep learning and grow alongside the business.
