Product Marketing Manager - London, UK
Job description
About FCM
FCM is the global business travel brand of Flight Centre Travel Group, one of the world's largest travel companies. We manage travel for some of the world's leading organisations, combining our own technology with expert people to make business travel simpler, safer and better value.
About the Role
This is a great opportunity to join FCM's growing product marketing team. You'll take FCM's products to market - shaping how we position them, launching new features, and making sure our sales and client teams can talk about them with confidence. You'll also measure the impact of your work and bring real customer stories to life, using them to strengthen our value propositions.
It's a role that blends strategy with hands-on execution. You'll own your projects end to end - from shaping the strategy, in line with our wider product and commercial goals, to seeing the work through to the finish line. We move fast: innovation happens here and exciting new features go to market at speed, so you'll have plenty of room to bring your own ideas and work with colleagues around the world.
What You'll Do
Market & Customer Insight
• Understand our market, competitors and customers so our decisions are based on evidence, not guesswork.
• Track what competitors are doing - their positioning, product features and launches.
• Run customer and market research to spot opportunities and risks.
• Turn those insights into clear, compelling value propositions and messaging.
• Capture results and customer success stories, using them to strengthen our value propositions.
• Go-to-Market & Launches
• Take new products and features from idea to market - on time.
• Plan and run launches end to end, working with global stakeholders to coordinate scope, timelines, messaging and communications.
• Coordinate with marketing teams on channel and content strategy for each launch.
• Share customer and competitor insight with our product teams to help shape what we build next.
• Set clear success measures for each launch (such as adoption and sales impact) and report on results.
Sales Support & Enablement
• Give our sales and client teams what they need to win and keep clients.
• Be the go-to expert on how we position and talk about our products, from new business pitches to renewals.
• Create customer-facing and enablement materials - presentations, one-pagers, FAQs, objection handling guides and competitor battlecards.
• Support training and briefings so teams are ready before every launch.
Product Communications & Assets
• Make sure both our people and our customers understand what we deliver, why we deliver it, and the value we create.
• Own our customer-facing product assets, keeping them compelling, consistent and current.
• Lead internal product communications so colleagues across the business stay informed and upskilled.
• Shape external product communications so customers clearly understand what we deliver, why, and the value it brings them - across channels we own and those owned by other teams.
• Write and deliver release communications so customers and colleagues know what's new and why it matters.
Working Across Global Teams
• Build strong relationships across a global business.
• Work closely with product, technology, marketing, sales and client teams, as well as colleagues in other regions.
• Help turn global strategy into plans that work in local markets, and bring local market and customer feedback back to the wider team.
Working Smarter with AI
• Make AI a natural part of how you work - and help the team do the same.
• Use AI wherever it helps you work more efficiently day to day - from research and writing to competitor analysis and reporting.
• Find new ways to build AI into our everyday workflows, and share what works so the whole team benefits.
About You
• Self-motivated and results-driven - you take initiative and enjoy seeing your work make a real impact.
• Strategic and hands-on - you take ownership, keep the bigger picture in mind, and are happy to roll up your sleeves.
• Curious about technology - you enjoy getting under the skin of a product and understanding how it works, so you can explain why it matters.
• Customer-focused, with strong commercial sense.
• Organised and adaptable - you can balance several priorities at once without losing sight of the detail.
• Responsive and reliable working with a distributed team across time zones.
• Comfortable with ambiguity - you enjoy shaping ideas from an early stage and bringing clarity as you go.
• Analytical and a natural storyteller - you turn data and insight into a clear, compelling narrative.
• An excellent writer and communicator who can adapt to different audiences, from sales teams to senior leaders.
• A natural collaborator who thrives working cross-functionally with product, sales, marketing and client teams.
• A trusted influencer - you build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business and use insight and evidence to shape decisions.
• AI-curious and forward-thinking - you enjoy exploring how new tools can help you and the team do more.
Experience
• 5+ years in product marketing to B2B or enterprise buyers, ideally in software or technology within a global organisation. We're open on industry - what matters is a proven track record in product marketing craft: positioning, messaging and go-to-market.
• Experience planning and delivering product launches across multiple teams and markets.
• Experience in a fast-moving, innovative environment where new features ship regularly.
• Hands-on experience writing messaging, positioning, release communications and sales enablement yourself, plus competitor analysis.
• Knowledge of business travel or travel technology is a plus, but not essential.
• A degree in marketing, technology, business or a related field is preferred.
What You'll Enjoy
• Flexible/hybrid working model - a mix of remote and office work.
• Discounted travel for family and friends - booked by our in-house travel team – as part of Flight Centre Travel Group, you have access to industry rates and discounts for you and your friends and family.
• Career progression – as part of Flight Centre Travel Group with a global brand network spanning 30+ brands and 20+ countries you are empowered to create clear career pathways and have access to the training and support needed to achieve your goals.
• Fun culture with industry-renowned social events (think monthly award nights, global conferences, end-of-financial year balls + more).
• Active Hour – an hour set aside each week to spend on your well-being.
• Bronze-level health cash plan - claim cash back against a range of medical services including dentistry, optical, and chiropractic.
• Plus so much more (company-matched charitable giving, excellent pension scheme, an active hour each week etc.)
Our number one philosophy is Our people. Flight Centre Travel Group's promise is to provide an environment with equality of respect, dignity and opportunity for all our employees. We value an inclusive and supportive workplace which reflects the diversity of our society.
