Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Solutions Consultant, Digital Assets based in United Kingdom.

This is a client-facing consulting role focused on helping financial institutions navigate the rapidly evolving digital asset and regulatory landscape.

You will work directly with banks, CASPs, custodians, and regulators across Europe, acting as a trusted technical and advisory partner.

The role combines solution consulting, regulatory expertise, client discovery, and hands-on delivery of strategic engagements.

You will translate complex compliance, risk, and technology challenges into clearly scoped solutions, proposals, and actionable recommendations.

Your insights from client engagements will directly influence product development, commercial strategy, and future solutions.

The position offers significant autonomy, international exposure, and the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders across financial services and Web3.

This is an ideal opportunity for a consultant or financial services professional who thrives in forward-deployed environments and enjoys solving complex client problems.

Accountabilities

  • Spend extended periods working on-site with compliance, risk, innovation, and regulatory teams at banks, CASPs, custodians, and other financial institutions across Europe.
  • Lead discovery sessions with clients and prospects to understand their workflows, technology environments, pain points, regulatory obligations, and underlying business needs.
  • Document client requirements and insights clearly and accurately, using the client's terminology and context to ensure findings can inform product and commercial decisions.
  • Translate client discoveries into actionable input for Product and Business Development teams, helping shape product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies.
  • Partner with Business Development during client meetings and regulatory discussions, taking ownership of solution design, technical follow-up, and engagement delivery.
  • Present products and services to senior compliance, risk, regulatory, and executive audiences in a clear, credible, and consultative manner.
  • Convert client challenges into well-defined proposals with clear scope, deliverables, timelines, and expected outcomes.
  • Lead advisory engagements including licensing-readiness reviews, regulatory gap analyses, technical due diligence, digital asset strategy assessments, workshops, and client reports.
  • Represent the organization at relevant industry conferences, events, and regulator meetings across the region.
  • Coordinate effectively with international teams across Europe, North America, and Asia and manage collaboration across multiple time zones.
  • Requirements

    • 3+ years of experience in a client-facing consulting, solutions consulting, business development, compliance, risk, regulatory, or similar role.
    • Experience working with or within banks, CASPs, custodians, or other regulated financial institutions, with a practical understanding of how compliance and risk functions operate day to day.
    • Strong knowledge of financial services regulatory compliance and related technology.
    • Professional-level writing and presentation skills, with the ability to create client-ready reports and communicate effectively with senior compliance, risk, regulatory, and executive stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated ability to independently manage client relationships and consulting engagements from discovery through delivery with limited supervision.
    • Comfortable working in a forward-deployed environment and spending several weeks at a time on client sites.
    • Willingness and ability to travel regularly across Europe, with occasional travel outside the region.
    • Strong consulting, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, and communication skills.
    • Knowledge of European digital asset regulatory frameworks such as MiCA, FCA, BaFin, or AMF is highly advantageous.
    • Experience with VASP licensing, regulatory examinations, compliance remediation, or regulatory-readiness programs is a plus.
    • Familiarity with compliance, risk, surveillance, or regulatory technology platforms is beneficial.
    • Big Four or financial services consulting experience is advantageous.
    • Additional European language skills and established relationships with compliance, risk, innovation, or regulatory leaders across European financial institutions are valuable.
    • Ability to operate effectively across international teams and changing client environments.
    • Benefits

      • Fully remote position based in Europe.
      • High-impact, client-facing role within the digital asset and financial services ecosystem.
      • Opportunity to work directly with banks, CASPs, custodians, regulators, and senior industry stakeholders.
      • Significant autonomy and ownership over client engagements and solution delivery.
      • Exposure to emerging digital asset regulations and evolving financial technology.
      • Opportunity to influence product roadmaps and commercial strategies through direct client insights.
      • International collaboration across Europe, North America, and Asia.
      • Opportunity to represent the organization at industry events and regulatory meetings.
      • Flexible working environment combined with substantial travel and on-site client exposure.
      • Contract-based opportunity with the potential to work on complex, strategically important consulting engagements.
