£60,000-£65,000 + Commission (OTE £80,000 - £85,000) + Autonomy + Flexibility + ISO Accredited training

Are you a Technical Sales Engineer or similar with Condition Monitoring / Vibration Analysis experience looking to take ownership of an established portfolio of major industrial customers, including McLaren F1, in a fully autonomous role allowing the freedom to manage your own working week?
This is a unique opportunity to join an established international manufacturer specialising in machinery reliability technology, working directly with engineering and maintenance teams to help improve machinery reliability, reduce downtime and identify developing equipment faults.
You'll combine your existing CBM / condition monitoring expertise with technical sales and account management, managing an established customer base across Southern England and South Wales. You'll have genuine autonomy over your territory and diary, alongside continued specialist technical training and development.
The Role
- Manage and develop an established portfolio of industrial and blue-chip customer accounts
- Visit engineering, manufacturing and process-industry customers across Southern England and South Wales
- Build relationships with maintenance engineers, reliability engineers, engineering managers and technical decision-makers
- Understand machinery condition and reliability requirements and recommend the correct technical solution
- Sell specialist condition-monitoring, vibration-analysis and machinery-reliability equipment and systems
- Support customers working with rotating and electromechanical machinery
- Develop existing accounts while identifying appropriate opportunities for further business
- Manage your own territory, diary and customer appointments
- Average approximately four customer-site visits per week
- Work from home between customer visits with genuine flexibility over how you structure your week
- Develop your technical knowledge through ongoing specialist training
What We're Looking For
- Previous Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM), condition monitoring or vibration analysis experience
- Technical sales, account management or business development experience within an engineering or industrial environment
- Strong understanding of rotating and electromechanical machinery
- Experience working with industrial equipment such as pumps, motors, bearings, gearboxes, fans, compressors or similar machinery
- Strong customer relationship and consultative selling skills
- Ability to work autonomously across a field-based territory
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the territory, including occasional overnight stays
