- Support for engineering manager in development, quality assurance and product management
- Working closely with team members to ensure successful completion of projects and overall support with roll-out services
- Enabling continuous improvement by providing support when needed
- Responsibility for vacation planning of direct reports
- Holding periodic one-to-one meetings to support individual performance and development via close work with HR
- Motivating the team to improve performance and ensuring team members are supported
- Leading team efforts towards successful project delivery for customers
- Collaborating with various stakeholders with focus on business goals
- Development background in building highly scalable, containerized services and applications
- Experience in Angular
- Good understanding of modern web technology including Javascript and TypeScript
- Familiarity with .NET Core, C#, messaging systems (Rabbit MQ) and in-memory databases (Redis, MS SQL)
- Deep understanding and interest in lean and agile principles for product development
- Demonstrated ability to build effective teams, motivate, direct and coach staff
- Strong people management and leadership skills
