Senior AI-Enabled Test Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer who combines deep expertise in test automation with the ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate and enhance quality engineering. In this role, you will design robust automation frameworks, integrate AI-powered testing capabilities into our workflows, and ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will act as a technical leader—mentoring others, shaping test strategies, and championing the responsible use of AI in testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks across web, API, and mobile platforms
• Use an AI Coding Agent to generate, refactor, and maintain test scripts, applying strong review and validation practices
• Craft effective prompts to accelerate test case and test data creation
• Review and validate AI-generated test code and scenarios to ensure accuracy, coverage, and maintainability
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality feedback
• Develop and execute end-to-end, integration, regression, and performance test suites
• Identify, document, and track defects, performing root cause analysis
• Define and promote test automation strategy, standards, and best practices
• Evaluate and integrate new AI testing tools into the team's workflow
• Analyze test results and report on quality metrics to stakeholders
• Mentor junior engineers on both automation fundamentals and AI-assisted testing techniques
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to embed quality early (shift-left)

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation
• Ability to use AI coding agents / assistants (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, etc.) effectively
• Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium
• Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks from the ground up
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
• Experience with API testing and integration testing
• Proficiency with version control (Git) and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr)
• Ability to critically review and validate AI-generated code and test scenarios
• Strong understanding of test design techniques and quality engineering principles
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proficiency in English at a B2+ level

Nice to have

• Familiarity with testing AI/ML-based features (model validation, bias detection, hallucination handling)
• Experience with LLM evaluation and testing frameworks (DeepEval, Ragas, evals, etc.)
• Familiarity with AI skills, agents, workflows, and orchestration
• Knowledge of performance, load, and security testing
• Experience in mentoring or leading a QA/test team
• Relevant certifications (ISTQB, Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, etc.)
