Job description

We are recruiting for a Business Support / Reporting Support Analyst to join a team within a large pharmaceutical organisation in Cork.

This role would suit someone with experience supporting business users and managing day-to-day queries who also has some hands-on exposure to Power BI and Power Automate.

The Role

You will be responsible for supporting day-to-day business processes, managing incoming queries and ensuring requests are followed through in a timely manner. You will also work with existing Power BI dashboards and Power Automate flows, monitoring them and carrying out basic troubleshooting where required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a shared inbox and respond to business user queries.
  • Support queries relating to account status, training and registration.
  • Follow established processes across different vendors and systems.
  • Ensure account requests are processed in a timely manner.
  • Use and monitor existing Power BI dashboards.
  • Refresh dashboards and check that processes have completed successfully.
  • Use and monitor existing Power Automate flows.
  • Carry out basic troubleshooting of dashboards and flows.
  • Identify issues and escalate where appropriate.
  • Provide clear and timely support to business users.

Experience Required

  • Previous experience in business support, operations support, reporting support or a similar environment.
  • Experience handling and responding to business user queries.
  • Basic working knowledge of Power BI.
  • Basic working knowledge of Power Automate.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Comfortable learning and following different business processes.
