## Job Summary
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by managing client acquisition, lead generation, and strategic partnerships within their designated city or region. Leveraging extensive experience in wealth management, fintech, or wealth-tech, the candidate will identify, engage, and convert high-net-worth clients, including HNIs and UHNIs, while expanding the company's regional presence through targeted outreach and relationship management. This role plays a pivotal part in achieving revenue targets and strengthening MProfit’s market position.
## Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Client Acquisition
- Independently generate high-quality leads and build a sustainable pipeline targeting HNI/UHNI clients.
- Conduct in-person meetings with prospective clients, including HNIs, UHNIs, and Family Offices, ensuring high-touch engagement throughout the sales and onboarding process.
- Perform targeted outreach to affluent clients, wealth managers, and financial advisors to demonstrate the benefits of MProfit’s wealth-tech solutions.
- Attend industry events, seminars, and networking opportunities to promote the company’s offerings and generate new leads.
- Sales Strategy & Market Insights
- Develop and implement strategic plans to acquire clients within the HNI/UHNI demographic in the assigned region.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to provide insights for product and strategy refinement.
- Conduct market research to understand the specific needs of high-net-worth clients and tailor engagement strategies accordingly.
- Relationship Building & Client Retention
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience and ongoing satisfaction.
- Act as a trusted advisor, leveraging wealth management expertise to address client needs and provide tailored product demonstrations.
- Maintain high levels of client engagement to foster loyalty and retention.
- Partnership Opportunities
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships to support business growth.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with partners, collaborating with internal teams to deliver successful outcomes.
- Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to incorporate client feedback into product development and marketing strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, leads, and conversions.
- Regularly report on activity metrics, pipeline status, and performance against targets.
## Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years in Wealth Management, Wealth-tech, or high-impact Business Development roles, with a focus on HNI/UHNI clients.
- Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of finance, investment asset classes, and wealth management SaaS solutions.
- Certifications: Financial certifications such as CFA are advantageous.
- Proven
Skills
Established relationships with high-net-worth clients and ability to leverage these for lead generation.
- Sales & Business Development: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets through strategic prospecting and relationship management.
- Communication
Skills
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and financial communication skills.
- Self-Motivated & Independent: Proactive, autonomous worker with a strong drive to build and manage a client pipeline.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools and financial software solutions.
## Preferred Skills
- Experience working with Family Offices and financial advisors.
- Knowledge of the Indian wealth management landscape and regulatory environment.
- Ability to conduct effective product demonstrations and consultative selling.

## Experience
- Minimum of 3+ years in wealth management, wealth-tech, or related business development roles, with proven success in engaging high-net-worth clients.

- The role is primarily in-office or hybrid, based in Mumbai, with frequent client meetings and industry event participation.
