Geospatial Application Developer

Design, develop, integrate, and support geospatial and business applications using ArcGIS, Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, and enterprise databases.

The successful candidate will contribute to application development, system integration, workflow automation, and cloud-based solution delivery while working under the guidance of senior developers, architects, and technical leads.

The role is suited to a developer with strong programming fundamentals and problem-solving ability who can build expertise across geospatial and enterprise application technologies.

Mandatory Skills

• The emphasis should be on the candidate's ability to integrate GIS capabilities into applications and workflows, rather than simply being an end user of these products.
• Should be able to apply these technologies to business applications, workflow automation, reporting, and integration requirements.

Experience Level

• Junior to Intermediate (2-6 years preferred)
• Strong development fundamentals and aptitude prioritized over specific platform experience

Desired Skills

• Bilingual in French and English is an added advantage.
• Future tech and innovation centric mindset.
• Fit with environmental science or engineering projects.
• Ethical/responsible use of AI and it’s implementation in global enterprise platforms.
• Master’s degree in GIS, Geo-informatics, Geomatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science with master’s degree in GIS, Geo-informatics, Geomatics, Computer Science, or a related field is an added advantage.
• Certification in FME, ESRI Enterprise/SaaS platforms or any Microsoft tech stack or MS power platform is an added advantage with above tertiary education.
