## Job Summary

We are seeking a world-class Principal Omnichannel Frontend Architect to lead the technical vision, architectural design, and performance strategy for our real-time, high-frequency trading (HFT) web and mobile platforms. The successful candidate will serve as the ultimate authority on client-side engineering standards, designing low-latency data pipelines, rendering engines, and ergonomic trading interfaces across Web, Native Mobile, and Cross-Platform frameworks. This role is pivotal in ensuring deterministic performance, scalability, and high-quality user experience in a demanding financial technology environment.

## Responsibilities

• System Architecture & Performance Engineering
• Architect a unified client-side architecture that shares core trading logic, order-book management, and binary data parsers across Web (Wasm), Native iOS/Android, and Cross-Platform frameworks (Flutter / React Native).
• Design zero-copy data ingestion pipelines for streaming WebSockets using binary protocols (Protobuf, FlatBuffers, or SBE) that parse and process market depth off the main UI/JavaScript/Dart threads.
• Build hardware-accelerated charting and order-book rendering systems utilizing Canvas, WebGL/WebGPU (Web), Impeller/Skia (Flutter), and Metal/Vulkan (Native Mobile) to guarantee deterministic 120 FPS performance.
• Manage memory and thread optimization by eliminating garbage collection pauses, UI thread blocking, and frame drops through memory pooling, background Web Workers/Isolates, and lock-free data structures.
• Standards, Governance & Technical Leadership
• Establish and enforce comprehensive coding standards, design patterns, and code quality benchmarks across Web, Native, React Native, and Flutter codebases.
• Define architectural criteria for feature development using Flutter/React Native versus native modules (Swift/Kotlin) or C++ for maximum throughput.
• Define and monitor performance SLAs across all platforms.
• Implement automated performance testing pipelines that enforce strict thresholds for bridge overhead, memory usage, bundle sizes, and rendering latency.
• Lead mentorship and hiring efforts, elevating the engineering team's technical capabilities and conducting technical evaluations for new hires.
• UI/UX Collaboration & Human Factors
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate complex market data (Level 2/3 order books, depth charts, position logs) into high-density, ergonomic web and mobile layouts.
• Optimize execution paths for speed and safety, including one-tap mobile execution, desktop keyboard shortcuts, and optimistic UI updates with deterministic rollback mechanisms.

## Qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with at least 4+ years in a Principal, Staff, or Lead Architect role.
• Proven track record of building and scaling real-time, low-latency financial systems, trading terminals, or high-throughput visualization platforms (Fintech, Crypto, FX, Derivatives, Gaming).
• Deep understanding of browser internals (V8 engine, Web Workers, Wasm) and mobile runtimes (Native iOS/Android, Cross-Platform frameworks).
• Technical Stack Mastery:
• Languages: C++20 / Rust, TypeScript/JavaScript, Dart, Swift, Kotlin.
• Cross-Platform Frameworks: React Native (Fabric, TurboModules, JSI, Hermes), Flutter (Custom RenderObjects, Impeller/Skia, Dart Isolates, FFI).
• Web Architecture: WebAssembly, HTML5 Canvas, WebGL/WebGPU, SharedArrayBuffer, Web Workers, React / SolidJS.
• Mobile Architecture: Native iOS & Android profiling, Metal/Vulkan graphics primitives, JNI/C-Bridge.
• Data Protocols: WebSockets, TCP/UDP, Protobuf, FlatBuffers, SBE, gRPC.
• Profiling Tools: Chrome DevTools, Xcode Instruments, Android Studio Profiler, React Native Performance Monitor, Flutter DevTools.
