Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Physical Security – APAC to join our global Physical Security team in Bangalore.

We’re transforming how Physical Security works at Arm, creating a more consistent, intelligence-led and collaborative approach to protecting our people, information and assets. You’ll help us shape that future while taking ownership for Physical Security across our APAC locations.

You’ll collaborate alongside colleagues from Physical Security, Workplace, People, Technology, Legal, Business Continuity and Enterprise Security. Together, we’ll make sure security supports Arm’s people and business while responding effectively to changing risks.

This is a great opportunity to help shape a developing global capability, bring new insights and make a visible difference to how we protect Arm.

Responsibilities

You’ll assist in developing and delivering our Physical Security strategy across APAC while contributing to our global security transformation.

Working with colleagues across Arm, you’ll:

  • Develop consistent, practical security approaches throughout our APAC region.
  • Assess security risks and guide teams toward selecting proportionate controls.
  • Improve how we use entry systems, surveillance cameras, on-site security, visitor management and secure areas.
  • Support security assessments and help teams address identified risks.
  • Help us prepare for and respond to security incidents and crises.
  • Build security into new offices, relocations and refurbishment projects.
  • Work with our Cyber Security and Technology teams to connect physical and digital security.
  • Support security planning for major events and higher-risk business travel.
  • Work with security suppliers to improve service quality and performance.
  • Use meaningful measures to help us understand performance and where we can improve.

We’ll also look to you to build positive relationships across Arm. You will collaborate with regional and global colleagues, listen to varying viewpoints and help us develop security solutions that protect people while enabling the business.

Required Skills and Experience :

We seek someone who has experience coordinating Physical Security in multiple locations and countries, with experience of working in the APAC region.

You’ll bring experience in several of the following areas:

  • Developing and improving corporate Physical Security programmes.
  • Physical Security risk assessment and assurance.
  • Access control, CCTV, guarding and visitor management.
  • Security policies, standards and governance.
  • Security incident and crisis response.
  • Security requirements for offices and workplace projects.
  • Managing security suppliers and service performance.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and leaders across different business functions.

You’ll be able to turn security risks into practical recommendations and explain them clearly to different audiences. You’ll also be comfortable working collaboratively across cultures, teams and locations.

We value different perspectives and career experiences. It’s not vital to have followed one particular career path to succeed in this role!

“Nice To Have” Expertise and Knowledge :

It would be helpful if you have experience in a technology, engineering, semiconductor or other global organisation where protecting intellectual property is important.

Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST or TISAX would be useful, as would experience connecting Physical Security with Cyber Security, business continuity or operational resilience.

Experience with security technology platforms, executive protection, event security, travel security or security intelligence would also be welcome.

Professional security membership or relevant training in security, risk, crisis management or resilience is helpful, but it isn’t crucial.

Most importantly, we’re interested in what you can bring to the team. If the role interests you but you don’t meet every preferred requirement, we’d still like to hear from you!

In Return:

Joining Arm means being part of a world-class team that is high-reaching and determined to achieve outstanding results. You will work alongside industry leaders and innovators, contributing to flawless service builds that improve our global operations. We provide an encouraging and inclusive environment that encourages continuous learning and professional growth. Your success is our success, and together we can build services that challenge on the world stage!
