M&A and Project Finance Analyst

financing solutions across different renewable energy technologies (solar PV,
wind onshore and offshore as well as BESS). Working across the M&A and
Project Finance teams, this person will be based in Milan (with the
possibility of hybrid remote working) and report to the Head of Project Finance.
What you’ll do:
- Contribute to the successful
- execution of sell-side, buy-side and partnership transactions by working on the
- whole spectrum from inception to closing.
- Build and maintain integrated financial models
- for M&A, project valuation and project finance purposes, including
- sensitivity analyses and scenario assessments.
- Analyse and roll-out the strategic
- entry in new geographical markets and the development of new business models
- (solar I&C, BESS, floating offshore).
- Contribute to the analysis of project economics
- and investment returns, supporting decision-making across development,
- construction and operational phases.
- Support the structuring, negotiation and
- execution of project finance transactions, refinancing processes and other debt
- raising activities.

Requirements
What you'll need:- Excellent
- academic background with a degree in Economics, Finance, Business
- Administration or Management Engineering (degrees in STEM are also suitable, if
- accompanied with background in economics or finance);
- Initial work experience (ideally up
- to 2 years) within consulting, private equity, infrastructure funds, investment
- banking/M&A, or corporate M&A or project finance functions, with a
- desirable focus in the energy/renewables business;
- Financial modelling experience and
- strong analytical and quantitative skills;
- Excellent verbal and written
- communication skills in Italian and English. Another European language would be
- a plus;
- Enthusiasm and self-motivation,
- including a willingness to take on new challenges and broad responsibilities;
- Ability to prioritize several concurrent tasks in a
- fast-paced environment and prove resilient in the face of challenges and
- disappointments.
