Cincinnati School of Music is growing and is looking to fill a part-time position at our charming Montgomery location (9865 Montgomery Rd), working 3 days a week on Mondays 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM, Thursdays 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM, and Fridays 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM. Cincinnati School of Music is a family-owned company, established in 2012 by a husband and wife team with a passion for music and community. With a background in music performance, music education, and business they wanted to create an educational space where local musicians could share their talents and passions by teaching students of all ages. The basic starting responsibilities include:

  • Assisting parents and students by phone, text, email, and in person
  • Communicating by email and text (using text messaging computer platform) with students, parents, and teachers
  • Scheduling private lessons
  • Processing tuition payments
  • Processing new student enrollments/basic data entry
  • Assisting with and prioritizing miscellaneous projects and tasks as assigned
  • Creating fliers
  • Office cleaning

  • Proficiency in Google Spreadsheets and Google Calendar

TRAINING PROVIDED: We have a comprehensive one week training program for new members of our admin team. Training will be conducted onsite at 9865 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati OH 45242. The owners and management team are educators by nature, and we guarantee you will receive supportive and thorough training to help you succeed!


Part-Time Schedule (13+ hours/week)

  • Mondays 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM
  • Thursdays 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM
  • Fridays 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM
  • Opportunity for occasional extra shifts working afternoon/evening hours and possibly weekend shifts

COMPENSATION: Compensation is $17 per hour, including paid training. The opportunity for additional raises and/or promotions is available upon growth and time with the company. Monthly performance bonuses and discounted music lessons are available to employees. For full-time employees only (30+ hours per week), we offer the following benefits: Paid Time Off, a company Health Insurance option, and a SIMPLE IRA retirement plan option.
