Application Pursuit Specialist

These Industry Data Clouds combine powerful data sharing technology; cutting-edge standards of privacy and governance; industry-specific datasets, plus Snowflake and partner delivered solutions to solve specific business needs.
In an effort to expand capabilities of the Industry Data Clouds, Snowflake is actively pursuing leading industry prodivers to bring their products into the Snowflake ecosystem. The Data Cloud team is continuing to add talent to our team of Application Principals to help these providers understand:
- The technical value the Snowflake Data Cloud can provide
- The potential integration points and deployment models that can be delivered with Snowflake
- The extended revenue models that can be realized by these joint solutions
- How joining their products in this industry ecosystem will allow them to increase the value their customers realize from their solutions
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH:
- 3+ years of Snowflake sales engineering experience with an emphasis on application use cases or hands on experience using Snowflake to deliver applications
- Self-starter who can independently manage time and develop close internal/external relationships
- Ability to partner with both account and industry teams to identify the right products and integration points of a target company with Snowflake
- Develop customer specific messaging in regards to the technical solutions and business models we believe they could deliver to the market
- Ability to take ownership and a hands on approach to achieving a technical win
- Deep understanding of Snowflake's data collaboration, native and connected app capabilities
- Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
- BA/BS required
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Working with account and industry teams to build an Account Plan for Application Pursuit
- Working with Account Executives to build specific messaging and content based on the account plan
- Lead early engagement presentations with clients on our Apps capabilities and the various integration approaches available with Snowflake
- Deliver demos of Snowflake Application capabilities
- Lead PoC efforts with prospects for Native, Connected, and Data Sharing capabilities
- Pull in Field CTO design experts as needed to guide clients through application design best practices
- Meet daily with clients to explain Snowflake's platform, revenue models, and monetization capabilities
The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:
- The estimated base pay range for this role is $176,000 - $276,000. However, because this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's commission plan, it is common for employees in this role to receive total on-target earnings of 0.
- Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's equity plan.
