Founded in 2013 in Los Angeles, Top Round now has 5 locations, located in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Ft. Lauderdale and Irvine. Our menu features high quality versions of Southern California classics, including our famous hand-sliced roast beef, fried chicken, cooked-to-order burgers, and creamy ice cream custard. We're looking for an Assistant General Manager ready to take the next step with a growing brand.

Assistant GM Job Description:
Requirements:

• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
• Ensure that all food, beverage, and custard products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's standards.
• Create a positive, productive working environment.
• Control cash
• Continually strive to develop staff and coach staff
• Oversee and ensure that restaurant policies on employee performance are followed and completed.
• Manage labor
• Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests.
• Work closely with the Operations Manager to continuously improve operations.
What it takes:

• Good with customers and leads by example.
• 2+ years of restaurant FOH/BOH experience
• Experience working in a fast casual restaurant
• Professional and positive communication skills and leadership ability

Expectations:
• Work schedule will require weekends early morning and late evenings and holidays.
• Must have the stamina to work 50 hours per week.
• Always act in a professional manner that represents the restaurant, owners and staff.
• Demonstrate teamwork in all areas of the restaurant.
• Work with a positive attitude
• Follow safety and sanitation rules and laws at all times.
• Coaching and mentoring staff to develop a team and encourage promoting from within.
