Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that meets the educational standards and individual needs of students.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Utilize various teaching methods to engage students, including hands-on activities, standardized testing preparation, and physical education instruction.
- Collaborate with special education staff to support students with autism and other learning differences.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and curriculum development.
Experience
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with children, particularly in special education settings or with autism, is highly desirable.
- Proven skills in curriculum development and the ability to educate students across various subjects.
- Familiarity with library services and resources to enhance learning experiences is a plus.
- Strong proofreading skills to ensure all educational materials are accurate and effective.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and standardized testing practices is essential.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,053.78 - $62,688.43 per year
