The Opportunity:

As an Assistant Marketing Manager for Sephora at Kohl’s on the Campaign and Content team, you will be responsible for supporting the orchestration and execution of key loyalty and promotion campaigns on behalf of Sephora’s newest partnership. As Sephora at Kohl’s continues to rapidly grow in 2023, the AMM will play a critical role on the team to help support cross-functional communication as loyalty campaigns, Scrum/Agile testing, and promotions are prioritized and adapted for Kohl’s business and client. Reporting to the Marketing Manager – [email protected] Campaigns and Content, with close mentorship from the Director of [email protected] Marketing, you will work cross-functionally with teams at both Sephora and Kohl’s to bring the best of Sephora to life inside Kohl’s. This is a great position for a curious, engaged, driven individual, who is excited by the opportunity to play a part in one of the biggest new partnerships in the beauty industry today. In addition, you will:

  • Support marketing campaign development, versioning, and implementation for Sephora promotions, loyalty, and CRM campaigns executed at Kohl’s
  • Build reciprocal partnerships in a highly matrixed organization – working across merchandising/brand marketing, dotcom, creative, PM, C&C, loyalty/promo/BI, store ops, store education, CRM, market research, and client analytics – in addition to respective Kohl’s partners
  • Execute end-to-end 360 marketing plans, including in-store (e.g. windows, fixtures, collateral) and digital (e.g., site, email, social, video), informing brief development and asset lists with insights learned about the [email protected] client
  • Support manager with testing and learning to uncover insights about optimal marketing/messaging mix and [email protected] client behaviors
  • Assist with synthesizing third-party data, consumer insights, and performance results shared by Kohl’s to inform future marketing plan development.
  • Work with key business partners to understand ongoing technological roadmap across loyalty and promotions to inform clear campaign messaging and optimal client experience

We would love to hear from you if you meet the following:

  • 2-4 years of marketing experience: agency, retail, and/or promotions, CRM experience preferred, but not required
  • High attention to detail in managing a range of projects, people, and initiatives simultaneously
  • Passion for client insights, creative strategy, and campaign execution
  • Expert multi-tasking abilities
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills: the ability to develop and maintain relationships with business partners at all levels across a variety of functions
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, omni-retail environment

The target annual base salary range for this position is $94,000.00 - $104,000.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
