LiveGlam inspires beauty enthusiasts by creating and curating monthly makeup products that work for them. We pride ourselves on keeping animals and your wallets happy. Founded in 2016 in the City of Angels, we are now a global team with a leadership group that’s predominantly female. From humble beginnings our #LiveGlamFam has grown significantly in 3 short years with 90+ team members, 2MM social media followers and 10MM+ products shipped. And our lipstick hasn't even started drying yet.
LiveGlam is searching for a Brand Copywriter with extensive beauty industry experience to join our marketing team in Downtown Los Angeles, CA. The perfect candidate will be one who can write content that gets people excited about our brand and products, who can serve as a masterful wordsmith for our website and beauty blog, and who has the ability to write comprehensive makeup content and show off their in-depth knowledge of beauty products.
The right person is one that gets a rush from talking about brush bristles, can easily describe small variations in product formulas, and who understands the slightest variations in 20 different lipsticks when they all look the same to a non-beauty connoisseur. The ideal candidate has their finger on the pulse of the beauty industry, has super-creative ideas, and can make sure our content is fresh, informative and appealing. We have our own in-house studio with the best lighting, cameras and creative team so you’re already set up for success!
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME:
Researching beauty trends and brainstorming creative ideas
Developing our company voice and using it to cater to our glam community
Creating enticing product descriptions for products sold on shop and social media
Writing blog articles and managing other bloggers
Making sure our content is fun, fresh and glam AF
Working with our photographers, videographers and graphic designers to create awesome photos and videos for blog content
Creating a fun working environment and vibe to ensure the production team can generate exciting and extraordinary work
Communicating overall goals and objectives to the team
Meeting content needs and timelines provided by our social team and brand manager
WHAT YOU HAVE:
A minimum of 3 years experience in the beauty industry, preferably with a strong social brand
A minimum of 2 years experience in content management
Proven success when it comes to creating glamorous and exciting digital content
Strong leadership and communication skills to manage other writers
Super creative and very passionate about the beauty industry
WHO OVERSEES YOU:
You will report directly to our Creative Director and will have regular conversations about the conceptualization, planning, design, scheduling, and execution of all creative projects.
WHO YOU OVERSEE:
You will be overseeing our other bloggers.
WHERE IT ALL GOES DOWN:
All things creative take place at the LiveGlam studio in downtown Los Angeles across from the Staples Center.
WHEN THE MAGIC HAPPENS:
The typical work schedule is Monday – Friday 10AM - 6PM.
