Hangar One Bistro * Airport Eatery & Bar is a new, vibrant industrial concept at Northeast Florida Regional Airport. We are about to finish the bottom to ceiling remodeling of this unique full restaurant and bar. With service for brunch, lunch and dinner including a full bar, we are ready to get our amazing team assembled:

The Garde Manger is responsible for preparing and finishing all hot and cold foods; salad station; assisting the unloading of deliveries; stocking and rotating the product; maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment as well as helping with both prep and service.

He/she must have the ability to read and follow menus and recipes, complete basic mathematical calculations, and possess strong communication skills, and the ability to work within a team environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year experience in the kitchen, a strong work ethic and desire to learn. A culinary training degree is preferred, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $13.00 to $16.00 /hour

Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications

Experience:

  • Food Preparation: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Food Safety: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Restaurant: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location:

  • One location

Schedule:

  • Weekends required
  • 10 hour shift
