Position Summary:

As the Credit Manager, you will play an integral part in supporting our business today and planning our business for tomorrow. You will be responsible for managing a diverse customer portfolio, and engaging directly with customers on their accounts. A successful candidate will be able to further develop the integrity of our credit systems, investigate all credit situations, and build lasting relationships with our customers.


Position Responsibilities:
  • Investigating and verifying the financial status and reputation of prospective customers applying for credit, preparing documents to substantiate findings, and providing recommendations.
  • Managing customer accounts and establishing credit limitations.
  • Investigating possible cases of fraud within accounts and taking proper steps as needed.
  • Reviewing collection reports and evaluating effectiveness of current policies and procedures.
  • Communicating with customers on account status and addressing any account concerns.
  • Monitoring department performance metrics and finding opportunities to develop further.
  • Collaborating with outside agencies for collections from delinquent accounts.
  • Leading special projects as opportunities develop.

Skills & Experiences:

  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
  • Credit management experience preferred.
  • Prior experience or ability to learn AS400/SAP software.
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong math skills and ability to communicate.
  • Strong attention to details and negotiation skills.
