We seek an IT project management director with experience delivering strategic, complex projects to join our growing team. The Director IT PMO will responsible for governing, managing, monitoring, and collaborating cross-functionally on IT projects and initiatives. The successful candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily to meet the qualifications required to perform this job successfully. This is a full time Exempt role. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of the IT PMO (Project Management Office).
Manage IT Project Portfolio strategic alignment, prioritization and global integrated project list to ensure business and IT services are focused on highest priorities to maximize returns with effective capacity management. Define process for interim strategic alignment to address shifts in priorities.
Collaborate and align with senior leadership team and CIO on project priorities and governance.
Manage strategic enterprise-wide IT projects and initiatives from project initiation through project delivery.
Manage inter-dependencies and coordination across projects to ensure that information relating to project deliverables, risks and issues are effectively communicated between stakeholders and that key performance indicators are established and monitored.
Lead, direct, and mentor project management and IT team members on best practice project management methodologies (Agile and Waterfall).
Ensure use of standardized/efficient processes, systems, playbooks, metrics, change management and common language. Provide flexible alternatives in methodology and process to assure streamlined and successful execution of projects.
Execute project plans and communicate project status in order to maintain accurate and current project information for the use of stakeholders.
Manage project changes in accordance with the change management plan to control scope, quality, schedule, cost, and contracts.
Establish and maintain executive stakeholder relationships; drive continuous improvement across the functions and regions regarding policies and strategies.
Foster accountability of cross-functional team leads to resolve project issues and ensure project success.
Conduct project post-mortems for the continuous improvement of project management practices.
Travel: approximately 25% required

Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
Array Technologies values our employee’s time off but occasionally, to meet business needs, this position may require some evening and weekend hours
Education and Experience
12+ years of global IT project management experience, across varying technology stacks
Experience implementing an enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) in an organization
Experience managing a minimum of 2 full lifecycle SAP/ERP implementations
Experience managing global, strategic, large scale, and complex projects with a proven track record of delivering on time, within budget, and to quality expectations.
