We have an incredible opening for a Life Enrichment Director to join our team! The Life Enrichment Director is responsible for creation and implementation of programming and activities, and providing rewarding opportunities for residents that promote a level of health, wellbeing, engagement and growth. This is a Monday through Friday, part-time 20 hours per week position.
Our Life Enrichment Director:
- Plans, schedules, and conducts community functions and lifestyle programs that provide physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual opportunities for the residents.
- Creates monthly activities calendar, including outside entertainment, outings, social events, special events such as birthdays and holidays.
- Assists in coordinating volunteer activities, and other. Assists as a back-up coworker in creating and distributing our monthly newsletter.
- Provides welcome introductions and ongoing communication with residents.
- Drives and leads wellness program initiatives.
- Interacts with residents, guests and staff in an atmosphere of hospitality.
- Promotes the Mission, Vision, and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility.
- Performs other duties as assigned or may be necessary in an organization having overlapping roles and responsibilities.
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite of products.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with staff and external constituents.
- Experience creating bulletins, event calendars, and presentations.
- Project management experience preferred.
