Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. Job Description:

Data Analytics & Digital Acceleration is a newly formed team that will lead the transformation of Consumer Health towards a data and digital first culture with the deployment of rapid, high value end-to-end (E2E) data products and solutions. This team will be responsible for targeted E2E Data and Digital outcomes that require a cross-functional focus to unlock our growth strategy leveraging Data Science/AI and Intelligent Automation. The team is business-led, technology enabled and will have responsibility to enable achievement of the J&J Consumer Health 3-year strategic growth objectives viz. Net Trade Sales Acceleration, Gross Profit Optimization, and Free Cash flow optimization. One of the key focus areas for this team will be to design, build, and maintain E2E digital products and to incubate high value solutions. We are recruiting for an Enterprise Digital & Data Learning and Development lead to join our Data Analytics and Digital Acceleration team and help us push forward our data and digital-first vision! This position may be based in Skillman, NJ or New Brunswick, NJ and open to consideration of talent at any major J&J Consumer Health Office location globally (as well as remote).

As a trusted leader in the Data Analytics and Digital Acceleration Team, this role will be uniquely positioned to work collaboratively with strategic external partners, global leaders, and executives across the business and technology to increase the digital and data acumen of our team members.

As a strategic problem solver, technologist, and an expert in learning and development for digital capabilities, this role will empower our technology and business partners through the adoption of high-value digital products and solutions, that will be foundational in achieving our digital-first ambitions.


Will work with the business to identify and prioritize digital & data learning and development needs, specifically:

  • Data and digital literacy strategy: Partner closely with Functional & Technology leaders and Talent team to create a learning & development strategy to increase the data/digital proficiency of the organization related to key initiatives. Provide strategic vision, thought leadership, and learning design expertise to create a robust data and digital curriculum. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), ensure continuous progress for organization’s digital and data literacy, and establish standards/consistency of program quality

  • Manage portfolio of learning offerings: Build a learning roadmap for data and digital literacy including technical skills, functional skills, and other professional development to support digital, data, and technology talent. Provide recommendations for increasing data and digital proficiency for leaders and team members. Lead the development of new or custom learning curriculum where necessary.

  • Curate learning curriculum: Partner with Leadership and Talent teams to curate curriculum. Leverage best in class training methodologies to include self-paced or trainer-assisted, and virtual, in-person, or hybrid solutions for engaging and relevant learning environments. Provide recommendations and evaluate off-the-shelf solutions and partner certifications to supplement custom training.

  • Manage vendor and third-party relationships: Evaluate and advise on vendors, technological tools, and learning platforms that are appropriate for identified participant population, business needs, and resource requirements. Manage strategic vendor and third party relationships, evaluate performance and ensure quality program delivery, manage budget and create a network of partners and service providers.

  • Support new hire data and digital onboarding: Establish digital and data proficiency standards for new hires. Coordinate new hire onboarding and deliver truncated orientation training (as needed)

  • Develop a training resource repository: Assist in creating and developing a resource repositor with high quality, manageability, and utility; assist in maintaining learning repository by updating and organizing content by subject matter

  • Partner with key internal stakeholders: Partner closely with leaders and learning teams to influence outcomes and gain alignment on data & digital acumen across geographies and functions.


Position Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.

  • 8+ years of experience working in learning and development with extensive experience with training and development program strategy and delivery, including managing day-to-day learning & development program design, implementation, and communications

  • Experience with developing training for data or digital technologies required

  • Experience with training various training methodologies including training in hybrid and remote environments

  • Experience consulting with internal and external stakeholders regarding learning & development program/product offerings

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including an ability to work with individuals from various geographies, business departments, and levels of the organization

  • Enthusiasm for public speaking with the ability to engage a large audience and present material in a professional manner

  • The ability to lead without reporting authority and to achieve outcomes in a matrix, complex environment - leading through influence and deep collaboration across the franchise and enterprise

  • The ability to manage ambiguity and shape new initiatives independently

  • Strategic thinking and big picture orientation/business acumen with strong interactions with key stakeholders

  • Has an innovative, agile, and high-performing teaming mindset

Preferred Competencies:

  • Technical knowledge of digital and data technologies, including data science, AI/ML, eCommerce/Marketing technologies a plus

  • Advanced degree is preferred
