Imaging Specialist - Office & Admin Specialist Int

$17.66 - $23.41 an hour

The person in this position functions as the imaging coordinator for MSRS. This person must operate autonomously, along with other staff in that area. Oversee document prepping, scanning and indexing. Keep detailed records as to where the original documents are located, current inventory at the off-site storage center (Insight Solutions), maintain contact with the off-site vendor, investigate and locate missing documents, troubleshoot equipment and assist systems staff when there is a programming failure. Maintain the scanning equipment. Provide backup support to other areas in the Division.


    Minimum Qualifications

    • English language skills sufficient to be able to speak, read, write, understand and respond to written and spoken communications.
    • Data entry/database management skills sufficient to accurately enter data, maintain database, and effectively retrieve information from multiple databases.
    • Typing and word processing skills sufficient to be able to accurately type correspondence in a timely fashion (55 WPM).
    • Ability to Check completed work for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and format.
    • Ability to compile, research, and analyze information from databases

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with quality control and quality assurance.
    • Experience using optical scanning technology.

    Physical Requirements

    Physical demands include frequent lifting and/or carrying such articles as file folders, ledgers, and small tools of items up to 40 pounds. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
