Job Purpose: Separate, process, sort stage and deliver all types of mail and parcels to designated mail drops and individuals when an accountable package requires a signature.

  • Pick up mail during scheduled and non-scheduled mail runs for processing.
  • Deliver and pick up express courier (UPS, FedEx, etc.) parcels.
  • Scan inbound/outbound packages such as USPS, FedEx, DHL, Office Max, UPS utilizing the PB Arrival System
  • Answer phone calls, take message and make sure appropriate mail staff picks up mail
  • Deliver newspapers am shift
  • Brings USPS accountable mail (registered, certified, express mail etc.) to the PO daily
  • Processes outgoing FedEx, UPS etc. operating the FedEx admin system
  • Receiving, scanning, delivering and picking up of all inbound/outbound parcels via Messenger service
  • Assist on the loading dock with incoming parcels
  • Operate machines that affix postage using a PB Connect Plus postage machine
Additional Duties:

  • May be crossed trained to perform as a File Clerk and Security Clerk for company safety
  • Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested
  • Close operations each evening

Minimum Experience:
  • 1-2 years mail and/or shipping services experience
  • Basic computer skills
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift packages up to 25lbs.
The target annualized base salary range for this position is $36,075. The individual will be paid hourly and eligible for overtime. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.
