A non-profit in Mid-Wilshire is in search of a receptionist for about a two week coverage. Job duties include answering phones, greeting guests, sorting and distributing mail, and other tasks as needed. Hours are 9am-4:30pm and pay is $15/hr. How you will make an impact

  • Structure, filter, and hand out incoming mail according to specified procedures
  • Maintain various office files and provide general office filing support
  • Be a welcoming presence for visitors
  • Place orders for office and kitchen supplies
  • Oversee various office files and provide general office filing support
  • Help out other administrative staff with support overflow work, including word processing, data entry and Internet research tasks
  • Use strong prioritization skills and a sense of urgency
  • Managing all incoming phone calls
  • Less than one year of experience
  • Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Microsoft Office experience desired
  • Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and keyboard skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent customer service and office administrative skills
  • Optimistic, creative, resourceful, solution-oriented, and tech-savvy
