Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to oversee the daily operations of our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Dental Receptionist, particularly within a dental office setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. As the Dental Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our practice runs smoothly while providing exceptional service to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the dental office, including scheduling appointments, check-in and check-out of patients.
- Maintain compliance with insurance requirements, ensuring proper documentation and verification completed for benefits.
- Manage patient registration by verifying and updating patient information, helping patients fill out required forms and documents, and entering all relevant patient information into the practice management software.
- Coordinate the office calendar by scheduling, rescheduling, cancelling, and confirming appointments, and filling in cancellations and no-shows.
- Make and present treatment plans and collect patient payments.
- Handle patient inquiries and concerns professionally, fostering a welcoming environment in the clinic.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental clinic is required, 2 to 3 years.
- Familiarity with dental coding systems, and documentation review is essential.
- Proficiency in using Eaglesoft patient management software is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and staff members alike.
