The team
Our Finance team plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimal financial management, and efficient operations across DocuSign. The team consists of Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Revenue Operations, Investor Relations, and Business Operations. The Finance team partners across all organizations in DocuSign to appropriately allocate resources, inform key business decisions, and facilitate the execution of our operational plans.

This position
Create secure, innovative solutions to the wide-range of challenges our high-growth global business as we expand and scale. The Revenue and AR Analyst is responsible for managing the order to cash process, including customer onboarding, review of customer contracts, timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and reporting. The position collaborates with and will be a key business partner to the Legal, Professional Services, and Sales teams. This position reports to the Revenue Manager and will be an individual contributor.

• Review contracts with customers, prepare sales orders and billing schedules within NetSuite, and ensure timely and accurate invoicing of software license and professional services fees.
• Process and apply payments from customers and proactively monitor the AR aging to help with the collection activities for domestic and international customers. Engage with customers in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner.
• Work collaboratively with revenue operations, sales operations, legal business development and sales to identify and drive process improvements throughout the order to cash cycle.
• Actively participate in monthly and quarterly close activities including preparing journal entries, working closely with external teams to obtain applicable month-end reporting, and performing certain reconciliations as needed.
• Support the implementation of NetSuite Advanced Revenue Module and other ad hoc projects as needed.

Basic Qualifications
• BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications
• Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables.
• Must have excellent attention to detail.
• Must have good knowledge of US GAAP with ability to account for and accurately record accounts receivable and revenue transactions. Exposure to ASC 606.
• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, FinancialForce or a large ERP.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet required deadlines.
• Experience in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment preferred. Must have ability to roll up his/her sleeves and still enjoy the work. Must have “work hard” attitude, but also enjoy
working in a flexible, supportive and energetic environment.
• SaaS or technology company background a plus.
• Must be PC proficient.
