Veterinary Hospital Kennel Attendant

Animal Medical Center of Southern California - Los Angeles, CA 90064

We are a state of the art, general, emergency, specialty, and AAHA accredited hospital located in West Los Angeles looking for a Veterinary Kennel Attendant whose responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

-Feeding and walking cats and dogs based on specific protocols

-Sanitation and cleaning of cages, kennels, and facility

-Bathing, nail trimming, ear cleanings, expressing anal glands (internally), drying cats and dogs

-Communicate with customers directly, and must be friendly and listen to their requests and needs

-Exercising and socializing the dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens

-Obtaining body weights of the animals

-May assist in animal restraint and performs related responsibilities as required

-Applicant must be able to lift 30 pounds

-Observing overall health of the animals

-Maintaining a clean environment for both the animals and humans.
