YourIT, located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is looking for a full time IT Service Ninja to add to our growing team. This position will grow into a leadership level position with a mix of on-site and remote technical work, as well as some management and project planning so applicants MUST enjoy working onsite at client offices, enjoy problem solving, installing equipment, and have a positive outlook. Our team works primarily remotely and from their home, self-motivation, quality Internet, and a home workspace are required. Do you get excited when there's a new software beta? Roles and Responsibilities:
A normal day at a managed services company is a blend of normal routine and whack-a-mole. You'll eventually be taking on the responsibility of leading service delivery, which means project planning and management, monitoring ticket queues, and managing the help desk. But you'll also be visiting our clients in their offices to configure and manage servers, install computers, printers, networking gear, etc... There's also the constant work of installing and updating software and firmware (sometimes at client offices and sometimes remotely). But the real fun comes when it's time to put on the cape and become the IT Superhero - troubleshooting technical issues, telling people to turn it off and back on again, and learning new hardware or software for the very first time. Naturally, we expect you to have a basic knowledge of FTL engines and sonic screwdrivers *Please note: this is NOT a remote/help desk role, so if that's what you're after I'm afraid this won't be a good fit.


Required Skills:
  • 1 year in IT industry, IT Directory, IT Lead technician in on-site tech company, or similar experience
  • Networking installation and troubleshooting problems
  • Windows Server Knowledge
  • Efficient with tasks, with very few errors
  • Able to see Big picture view, but thrives in details and time management
  • Quick learner, able to implement new information quickly
  • Analytical thinker, while keeping calm under pressure
  • Have high standards for self, and able to actively listen while creating relationships with others
  • Open to feedback and development
