Responsibilities:
- Design and implement access control systems based on client requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine system layout and wiring specifications
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot intrusion detection systems (IDS)
- Perform low voltage wiring and connections for access control devices
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to install and maintain access control hardware
- Configure computer networks for remote access and monitoring of access control systems
- Troubleshoot and repair computer hardware related to access control systems
- Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to diagnose system issues
- Provide service technician support for access control system maintenance
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in access control system design and installation
- Strong knowledge of low voltage wiring and mechanical principles
- Familiarity with computer networking for remote access configuration
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair computer hardware related to access control systems
