Account Executive – Life Sciences
We are an established and growing distributor of cutting-edge biotechnology products based in Massachusetts.
We are looking for an individual with a passion for sales and science to be our Account Executive for an innovative system, Actual HCA, that provides 24/7 monitoring of rodent behaviors in a group-housed environment that is beneficial from both data and welfare perspectives. The Actual Analytics experts will provide input and technical support throughout the sales cycle.
What You’ll Do:
- Execute the end-to-end sales cycle including outreach, building deals, site visits product demonstrations, sales meetings, and closing deals
- Identify and outreach to potential clients
- Use a solution based selling approach
- Create and execute a detailed sales plan
- Develop and grow customer base and customer footprint
- Actively create new business opportunities
- Achieve and exceed quota and revenue objectives
- Collaborate with product experts throughout the sales cycle
- Track customer details, leads, timeframes, next steps and forecasting leveraging Sales Force CRM
- Participate in key industry meetings and trade shows
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, Masters/scientific degree preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 3+ years sales experience with demonstrated track record of success in Life Sciences/Biotech sector ideally with experience working at or with pharmaceutical companies and/or CRO’s
- Proven ability to build long term effective relationships
- Comfortable making cold calls, networking, and developing customer relationships
- Highly motivated individual with strong customer focus
- Demonstrated ability to close new accounts
- Ability to regularly travel by car and air
- Location is flexible, but New England preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
