Job Mission

Your primary objective is to grow Figure Plant revenue by generating business from past and current clients, thereby increasing client satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. As a principal steward of our clients’ experience, you are responsible for understanding client needs and addressing their concerns. You will cultivate relationships with past Figure Plant clients.

The Account Manager reports to the Owner/Founder and collaborates with Estimation, the Director of Production, Project Management, Technical Design, the Shop Manager, and the Company Director.

Expectations

  • Increase Figure Plant revenue to meet current sales goals and increase close rate
  • Manage and “own” the proposal process for your book of business, including presenting all proposals, following up with prospective clients, and selling projects through
  • Cultivate loyal, committed clients who trust Figure Plant and use us as their preferred vendor
  • Follow key contacts who have moved to new companies and establish relationships there
  • Free up senior leadership to focus on new business development

Responsibilities

Ongoing:

  • Create and document a clear, well-developed Account Management plan
  • Develop, maintain, and grow Sales Prospects list from book of clients
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing client list
  • Reach out to potential clients with warm calls, coffee/lunch dates, etc
  • Work with Estimation and Owner/Founder to focus sales efforts
  • Create compelling, inspiring proposal decks
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to better serve clients
  • Attend networking events
  • Approach past end-clients for previous FP work done through intermediaries

Pre-sale:

  • Present capabilities decks to potential clients
  • Schedule and hold discovery conversations with potential clients
  • Participate in client qualification conversations
  • Work with Estimation to develop proposals
  • Sell proposals through

Mid-project:

  • Hold regular project check-ins with clients
  • Understand and manage client issues, needs, and expectations, and communicate those to team members such as PM’s, Estimation, etc as needed.

After project delivery:

  • Acquire project images from clients
  • Coordinate and run partnership reviews
  • Secure client testimonials
  • Secure client referrals

Required skills and experience

  • Proven experience in Account Management or Sales
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Google Drive
  • Ability to analyze sales-related data and generate actionable insights
  • Ability to build authentic trust and rapport

Also helpful

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Experience in the field of custom fabrication, experiential exhibits, or adjacent
  • Experience with Active Campaign, LinkedIn, and Asana
