Job Summary:
Westinghouse Outdoor Power Equipment, a leading brand in power solutions, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to oversee and manage relationships with national retail and wholesale accounts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, expanding market share, and driving revenue growth across the U.S. This role requires strong leadership, negotiation skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Account Management
- Start, maintain, and grow relationships with key national retail, wholesale, and distribution accounts.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Develop a deep understanding of the business objectives for assigned accounts and leverage Westinghouse’s capabilities to expand partnership and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Sales Strategy and Execution
- Develop and implement sales plans, strategies, and initiatives to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
- Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts and prospects for new business.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. supply chain, finance, marketing) to tailor solutions that meet the needs of assigned accounts and market demands.
- Sales Performance Reporting
- Prepare and present detailed sales performance reports, and market analysis to senior leadership.
- Monitor sales performance against targets, analyze sales data, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure goals are met.
- Negotiation and Contract Management
- Lead contract negotiations with national accounts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
- Manage pricing structures, terms, and promotions with key accounts to drive sales and profitability.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets with large retail or wholesale accounts.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel nationally as required.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or the equivalent in related work experience is preferred
- 3+ years of experience in account management or inside sales
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
