Mae Mae Dance Center is seeking an experienced and passionate Acrobatic Instructor to join our dynamic team! Our ideal candidate has a background in acro, gymnastics, or tumbling and enjoys working with children and teens in a structured, supportive, and creative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Teach acrobatic skills safely and effectively to beginner through advanced-level students
- Create lesson plans that build strength, flexibility, control, and confidence
- Emphasize proper technique, injury prevention, and artistic expression
- Support choreography that integrates acro skills into dance routines
- Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom atmosphere
- Communicate progress and goals with students and parents
Qualifications:
- Prior experience teaching acrobatics, gymnastics, or tumbling (dance studio or gym setting preferred)
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate skill progressions
- CPR/First Aid certification a plus
- Ability to spot safely and confidently
- Team player with strong communication skills
Bonus if you have:
- Experience in competitive dance or choreography
- Certification in Acrobatic Arts or similar program
