Country Club Rehabilitation Campus is look for a full time Activities Director. The individual we are looking for must be a Licensed Activity Director; must be able to speak and communicate efficiently with public and residents; and have excellent writing skills and computer skills.
Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for giving announcements every morning containing day, daily activities, noon meal and weather; Takes care of daily changing calendars/boards to inform residents of daily activities; Assists residents to and from activities and sometimes runs the activity; Responsible for recording all residents daily activities; Responsible for listening to residents concerns and helps find solutions to their concerns; Overall responsibility is to make sure scheduled activities are carried out; Assists in preparing and planning the monthly activity calendar (including making phone calls to reserve entertainment and scheduling outings); Making a monthly limo schedule; Assisting with activities on the apartment and assisted living wings; Assisting with serving meals and cleaning up the dining room when the need arises; Ensuring residents have dinner music for both lunch and supper; Motivating the staff to participate in Theme Days; All other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
