The successful candidate must be able to teach core and elective Fire Science courses, with a strong preference for expertise in Fire Prevention. Candidates with experience in other areas of Fire Science are also encouraged to apply. Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Fire Science field preferred. AAS in fire science technology or related field is required. Furthermore, an OSFM Fire Officer 2 certification is also required.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years teaching or training experience at the college level. Minimum of 5 years of Fire Service experience, with a preference for experience in Fire Prevention. Must be an effective, enthusiastic educator who is committed to teaching at the community college level.
