What you’ll be responsible for:
You will be responsible for administrative tasks supporting various aspects of the Community Outreach and Engagement (COE) department. You will be a contributing team member, supporting event planning, program planning, and execution. You will work closely with team members to design and improve routine business processes and to devise strategies for accomplishing tasks related to special projects and circumstances.
What you’ll be doing:
- Schedule staff, board, and committee meetings: book rooms or outside locations, order food, print documents, and provide other support as needed.
- Work with Accounting department on tasks such as: processing check requests and program payment plans.
- Ensure smooth handling of day-to-day business tasks including responses to internal and external inquiries, coordinating inbound and outbound communications and materials, and facilitating other routine processes as directed.
- Respond to special requests related to event planning, program execution, or other needs as directed.
- Contribute to team planning of programs and events, volunteering to take on needed tasks as appropriate.
- Learn, utilize, and enter data in our donor database system, Salesforce.
- Serve as Contact Case Data Manager (CCDM) and participate in the Contact Quality Team (CQT) to support and maintain data integrity for Community Outreach and Engagement as well as for the whole organization.
- Perform related duties or responsibilities as assigned. Observe, in every respect, the confidential nature of the agency's services to their clients.
- Support JUF Campaign and mandatory campaign-related activities on an ongoing basis.
What you need to succeed:
- At least one year of experience in a professional environment; college degree preferred.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and coordinate among multiple departments.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft software environments (Office Suite, Teams, etc.)
- Ability to learn new software systems, including Salesforce.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends to support special events and other initiatives.
Salary range: $46,000-$47,000
