Summary
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team at All Labs Today LLC. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our operations by managing administrative tasks, enhancing customer service experiences, and ensuring smooth communication within the laboratory. Your contributions will be essential to our commitment to excellence in diagnostic testing.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily administrative tasks to support laboratory operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and healthcare providers.
- Maintain organized records and documentation for efficient workflow.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist in calendar management and scheduling appointments as needed.
- Create, update, and maintain spreadsheets to track orders, patient information, test results, and billing data.
- Navigate and operate multiple laboratory, healthcare, and billing portals to input data, retrieve results, and manage test orders.
- Accurately place test orders based on requisitions received from providers or patients, ensuring all required information is complete.
- Print barcoded specimen labels and corresponding paperwork for each test ordered, ensuring correct matching and documentation.
- Assist with insurance and direct-pay billing processes, including data entry, verification, and basic follow-up tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
- Excellent computer literacy, including proficiency in word and Excel.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with Tebra billing software is a plus but not required.
