Administrative & Human Resources Assistant
Position
Summary: The Administrative & Human Resources Assistant plays a vital role in supporting both the administrative and human resource functions of the organization. This position is responsible for creating a welcoming environment for guests and employees, coordinating company projects and events, and maintaining smooth office operations. On the HR side, the role supports recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee engagement, and compliance with employment policies and safety standards. The Assistant will report directly to the Operations Director and collaborate across departments to foster a productive and positive workplace culture.
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Proficient in Office 365 & Microsoft Products, ERP knowledge helpful
- Associate’s degree in business management or human resources (preferred) or equivalent work experience
Position responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, answer and direct incoming phone calls, and manage front office reception
- Coordinate companywide projects, employee events, and vendor services
- Maintain building operations, including lease agreements and facility upkeep
- Manage inventory and ordering of office, cleaning, and breakroom supplies
- Support recruitment efforts, including posting jobs, interviewing, and onboarding
- Administer employee benefits and assist with payroll processing
- Maintain HR documentation such as job descriptions, training records, and personnel files
- Promote employee engagement and culture through coordinated programs
- Support workplace safety initiatives, including coordinating training and ensuring general compliance with safety guidelines
- Ensure adherence to company policies and employment regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned to support administrative and HR functions
