Responsibilities
Based in Los Angeles, the administrator in the Workplace Services function of Corporate Services is responsible for a key portfolio of essential services to Oaktree stakeholders. The administrator will have a focus on employee engagement, visitor experience, and excellence in workplace services within Oaktree’s new hybrid-working and agile-seating model. This professional will manage multiple projects from start to finish, and must be a skilled communicator and collaborator who can partner effectively on various employee engagement and/or culture-bearing initiatives and opportunities.
Responsibilities include:
- Plan and execute all programming for corporate catering, pantries, employee meals, and other special programming for the LA office.
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for corporate catering vendors.
- Manage budget for the Corporate Pantry and Catering account line; complete quarterly and annual analysis as required.
- Make recommendations for new tactics to engage employees in the framework of Oaktree’s workplace strategies.
- Manage client meeting services, including service levels and partnership with LA administrators and special requests.
- Lead or participate in the creation and execution of special office events, including seasonal events, DEI-related events, and ad-hoc events or initiatives.
- Assist in the LA office visitor experience, including those of external guests and Oaktree employee intra-office visits.
- Contribute to the operations of Our Communities Matter, Oaktree’s employee charitable giving platform.
- Assist with volunteer opportunities and outreach to Oaktree employee resource groups
- Manage quarterly all-office administration meetings, including agenda creation, presentation management, and day-of logistics.
- Contribute to the emergency preparedness function for the Los Angeles office.
- Contribute to a broad level of employee communications and/or employee engagement efforts, with an ability to communicate effectively in writing and in person across the company.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of experience in administration, hospitality/catering, event planning, or office management
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to escalate issues needing attention
- Demonstrated track record of skillful communications and effective business writing.
- Strong proficiency in Excel skills
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint skills, including charts and applying style guidelines
- Proven ability to manage tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, independently determining order of priority and self-initiating other value-added tasks

Education
Bachelor's degree required.
Base Salary
$85,000 - $95,000
In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives, a comprehensive benefits package and a flexible work arrangement. The base salary offered will be commensurate with experience and/or qualifications, industry knowledge and expertise, as well as prior training and education.
