Overview
Trinity Medical Sciences University (TMSU) is an international university with campuses in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Warner Robins, GA. It offers doctor of medicine (MD) degrees. The University administration office is located in Roswell, Georgia. Our students come principally from undergraduate programs in the U.S. and Canada.
This Admissions Counselor will work in our Roswell, GA administrative office. TMSU is seeking an individual with an exceptional desire to serve and support students with their planning and preparation for entry to medical school. The Admissions Counselor will be accountable for recruitment goals through the entire admissions cycle, including student recruitment and pre-enrollment support services.
The University is accredited by the Caribbean Accrediting Authority for Education in Medicine and other Health Professions (CAAM-HP), recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as having accreditation standards substantially equivalent to standards for U.S. medical schools. Our MD graduates are eligible to participate in the National Residency Match Program (NRMP) and to obtain practice licenses anywhere in the U.S. and Canada.
Responsibilities
Recruiting Overview
- Follow up on provided leads and responding to inquiries about the different programs offered.
- Assist and advise student applicants throughout the recruiting and matriculation cycle.
- Assist students in the transition process.
Student Recruiting & Admissions Workflow Coordination
- Responsible for documentation of all communication with students that are leads and applicants into the CRM system as incurred.
- Ensure appropriate documentation for each applicant is submitted to the Admissions Committee for candidate deliberations regarding admission.
- Lead the post acceptance transition planning and preparation including budgeting and financial planning, housing, travel, and other operational items critical to successful student matriculation.
- Responding to questions and concerns, logging applicant inquiries, and managing all subsequent follow up contacts and tasks.
- Advise and counsel applicants regarding progress in completing transition activities and pre-enrollment processes.
- Obtain missing information required from applicants and, when necessary, accepted applicants/students. Ensure student applicant information is correctly and accurately entered into the data management systems in a timely manner.
- Ensure each applicant’s or student’s questions are resolved to the satisfaction of the individual in order to ensure the enrollment of the applicant.
Retention Role in the Admissions Process
- Ensure applicants and prospects are receiving essential communications at the proper touch points throughout the matriculation process in a timely manner and document each touch point/communication in CRM.
- Receive feedback from students and take action as necessary.
- Maintain ongoing contact with applicants/student(s) as needed to measure and encourage interest, support enrollment, respond to questions, and provide support through matriculation.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
