Pre K International is seeking a caring, dependable, and engaging After-School Care Worker to provide a safe, nurturing environment for children ages 3–5 during after-school hours. This team member will support structured play, rest time, snacks, and enrichment activities while maintaining a positive classroom environment that supports each child's development and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times
- Organize indoor and outdoor activities that promote social-emotional learning, creativity, and motor skills
- Assist children with toileting and hygiene as needed
- Prepare and serve healthy snacks in alignment with CACFP guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
- Support transitions between activities and maintain a calm, structured routine
- Report any incidents, injuries, or concerns to the Program Director immediately
- Follow all licensing, health, and safety requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in childcare, youth programming, or related field
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and fingerprinting
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Commitment to consistency, punctuality, and positive communication

Preferred Qualifications:
- Child Development Associate (CDA) or coursework in Early Childhood Education
- Experience in a licensed child care setting
- Familiarity with HighScope or Creative Curriculum frameworks

Compensation & Schedule:
- Hourly Rate: $12.50 – $18.00/hour, depending on experience
- Weekly Hours: 20 hours/week (Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM)
