Responsibilities:
-Excellent knowledge of California workers Compensation law.
-Complete intakes, questionnaires.
-Follow up with clients, doctors and insurance with regard to medical treatment and status.
-Schedule doctors appointments, locate doctors in the medical provider network. -Set up PQME appointments and create advocacy letters.
-Able to use EAMS for e-filing, review of case status and FileNet
-Open cases and files, Excellent writing skills, Great with clients, Detail oriented, Opening claims , coordinate doctors appointments with various medical providers
-Create letters of representation, and various types of outgoing correspondence.
- Greet and welcome clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and respond to all inquiries
- Assist Attorneys with calendar, schedules, client communications, organizing, filing, etc.
- Obtain and organize mail
-Obtain records from medical facilities,, insurance providers, opposing counsel, etc.
-Work directly with attorneys and other staff on all workers compensation matters.
-Able to appear as a hearing representative for telephonic or video conferences at the WCAB.
-Proficient in obtaining records, filling out PTCS, understanding exhibits, etc.
Experience:
- At least 1 year of previous experience in Applicant Side California Workers Compensation law.
