Job Type: Part-time. Monday-Friday 2:30pm-5:30pm
Salary: $12.00 /hour

Working with young children
JOB DUTIES
Maintain a high standard in personal conduct, appearance and language.
Follow school policy in regard to philosophy and practice.
Health and Safety
- Be aware at all times of the safety of the children. If an accident occurs, notify supervisor and prepare an accident report form for notification of parents.
- Monitor children for signs of illness, injury or suspected abuse /neglect and report concerns to supervisor
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play periods.
- Monitor the safety conditions of the space and report any safety hazards.
- Review the school’s Emergency Operations Plan and all safety procedures and participate in monthly drill procedures and related trainings.
- Participate in certification programs for Emergency First Aid, CPR, and Fire Safety as required.
Classroom / Child Care Environment
- Establish and maintain a clean, orderly and safe physical environment
- Select nutritious snacks and other food prep activities following school guidelines.
- Prepare and maintain supplies and materials used in the child care room.
Staff Development and Communication
- Keep supervisor informed of any issues related to children, parents, and staff
